Why I Wrote Dear Little Tammie

I didn't write Dear Little Tammie simply to tell my story.

​

I wrote her because I know what it feels like to carry the little girl inside of you into adulthood—still longing to be seen, loved, protected, and chosen.

​

For years, I met women who believed they were healing symptoms, relationships, or stress, only to discover they were really trying to comfort the little girl within who had learned to survive before she ever learned to feel safe.

​

As I continued my own healing journey, I realized something profound:

The little girl inside us never disappears.

​

She grows up with us.

She celebrates with us.

She grieves with us.

She waits for us.

​

Dear Little Tammie was born from the hope that every woman would remember who she was before the world told her who she needed to be. It is my love letter to every woman who has ever questioned her worth, silenced her voice, abandoned herself to be accepted, or forgotten the beautiful little girl who has always deserved unconditional love.

My prayer is that this book reminds you of something you've always known deep within your heart:
